The wealth of the city is reflected in this church, built between 1494 and 1528 thanks to the fortunes of cod fishing and the salt trade. It is in the flamboyant gothic style. It is made entirely of granite and has four naves and numerous pillars, which is quite rare. Its 56 m tower was a landmark for sailors. The church has painted vaults from the 16th century, stained glass windows and polychrome wooden statues from the 17th and 18th centuries.
