Between La Turballe and the salt marshes of Guérande, stretches a large sandy cordon: the tip of Pen Bron. Bordered by a pine forest, it juts out into the ocean and runs alongside the traict of Le Croisic. It is the largest natural dune massif of the department, classified as a Natura 2000 site like the traict of Croisic and the salt marshes of Guérande. To discover the fauna and flora of the dunes of Pen Bron, guided tours are organized with an association. All picking is forbidden. Use the footpaths to avoid trampling the flora
