AVF CARQUEFOU

Cultural association

Carquefou is a charming town in the Loire-Atlantique department, just 13 kilometers northeast of Nantes. With its 19,484 inhabitants, it offers a pleasant and peaceful living environment. The town is crossed by the magnificent Erdre River, described by François 1er as "the most beautiful river in France". History buffs will be delighted to discover the many manor houses dotted around the town, built by Nantes' notables from the 16th century onwards. For newcomers and those wishing to share leisure activities, the AVF Carquefou is there to welcome you. This voluntary association aims to help you settle into life in Carquefou, and to encourage social interaction by offering a range of activities. For more information, visit the association's offices at Château de la Fleuriaye.
