She replaces the former chapel of Boussay priory that existed in the year 1100. Rebuilt in 1667, it was burned to the Revolution and restored in 1820. Too small, the chapel was rebuilt in 1872. His stained glass and frescoes retrace the history of Saint Radegonde, the wife of the Merovingian king Clotaire. He was the murderer of his brother, which led to the Queen's escape. Becoming religious, she founded the Abbey Sainte-Croix in Poitiers. Boussay was part of the land left to him by the king. His frescoes were made by Loue. They also represent Notre-Dame de Lourdes, Saint Sébastien, Saint Geneviève and Saint Blandine.
