Friendly restaurant with new furniture and comfortable chairs is to discover in Bouguenais.
Established on rue de la Paix for 17 years, La Mise en bouche has had time to build up its little reputation, although the place is a bit off-centre. Jean-Yves, Valérie and Coralie, their daughter, are at the helm of this resolutely friendly restaurant, where the customer is truly considered. Which is pretty nice. The welcome is therefore warm and the service very efficient. As for the kitchen, we want more! In 2019 the restaurant was renovated with a new refined decoration and new furniture with comfortable chairs. The new atmosphere makes the bistro even more beautiful with spaced tables, some versions with high tables such as bodega barrels, and the beautiful natural light that floods the restaurant. And new are the beautiful wall slates to read the daily menus even better. The products are those of the market. It's up to us to choose between the daily formulas or the return menu of the Market. Try the chef's foie gras and home-smoked salmon, roasted albacore tuna or the traditional egg steak or pork shank, dishes always well accompanied. Gourmets will opt for gourmet coffee or macaroons... All this explains the rush at lunchtime and the tables that fill up at a glance. And then the neighbourhood bistro atmosphere, where we have lunch surrounded by customers having a drink at the bar, is particularly nice. An address to find out if you haven't already.

Nous avons pris 2 entrées différentes et 2 plats différents : délicieux ! Belle qualité de produits . Bravo au chef!
Menu du midi à 20 EUR avec plat et dessert, brochette de charcuterie (60g de boudin et environ autant d'andouillette). Service avec salade et frite, dessert, fromage blanc coulis. Honnêtement cher pour un service de type brasserie. Le plat n'était pas fou non plus, particulièrement gras. Salle bruyante. Bref d'autres doivent aimer, mais pas moi.
