NIELLE CHAPEL

The chapel of Nielles is a reminder that there was a flourishing city before the armies of Charles V in 1553. It was then the religious heart of a suburb of Therouanne. So much to say that it shelters in its bosom precious memories. At one time a saltpetre factory, it then joined the bosom of the parish of Thérouanne which it had left centuries earlier. It is possible to admire its interior during guided tours, as well as every year during the day of the historical monuments.
