A warm and welcoming inn where the chef works with fresh products in Saint-Aubin.
The Auberge du Cronquelet seduces by its warm decoration. In winter, sit by the fire and in summer in the garden. Under the wooded beams, the chef works with fresh products. On the menu, what jumps out at you is the calf's head, the chef's specialty. There is even a "Tête de veau" menu. As an appetizer, the cannelloni of fresh goat's cheese will catch your eye and you will succumb to the nicely worked desserts. Equipped with a video projector, one of the rooms can accommodate 40 people for a seminar or a family celebration.

Endroit chaleureux. Service et cuisine impeccable. La présentation des plats était raffinée.
Pour un lunch entrée plat dessert à environ 30 euros sans boisson.

We sat in the garden surrounded by lovely hydrangeas and dining tables at which were families and couples and special occasions all enjoying exquisite food. Herbs were crushed over sauces so they were a spirit tantalisingly fleeting, perfect for challenging a palate to comprehend what french cooking can still do. Stay at Au coeur du village in the Chambres d’hôtes in the village of Saint Aubin, our hostess, Patricia Trinel. Impressive.
