Mine and Railway Center of Oignies, with a route of more than 700 m to see real steam locomotives.

In the heart of the formerNo. 2 pit, this center tells you the history of the mine and the railroad, two emblems of the region. At the Mine Museum, you will discover reconstructions of workcamps, period equipment and photos, archives and models of the northern pits. In the Mine and Railway Center, trains of all scales run on extraordinary circuits. In the park, you will be able to see real steam locomotives on a course of more than 700 meters.

Passionné de chemin de fer ou simple curieux, voilà un endroit à ne pas manquer, surtout lors des journées du festival du chemin de fer et modèles réduits. La visite est agréable et intéressante. On y apprend beaucoup de choses.
