To taste a local cuisine, proposed in a menu in a friendly restaurant five minutes from the sea.

Five minutes from the sea, in a totally uncluttered setting so as to concentrate the senses on flavours, you can enjoy local and quality cuisine. The menu always offers new recipes and an undeniable freshness with three starters, three main courses and three desserts that are changed every week. The menu is tightened around seasonal dishes, with refined presentation and sublimated flavours. It is gourmet, inventive, finely prepared... The welcome is always warm and friendly. All this makes you want to come back!

We stopped here for lunch on the way back to the Eurotunnel. What a gem! The restaurant is in a small village on the outskirts of Boulogne. The village itself is beautiful as you would expect of French villages.

It felt like we were getting a fine dining experience but in completely relaxing and airy surroundings. On arrival, we were asked if we wanted to take aperitifs in the lounge. I wish we could have said yes as the lounge looked so cosy but, with 2 small ones, we knew our time was limited and opted to go straight to our table.

The menu is small, but perfect. Between our group, we managed to order almost all choices on the menu and they were all executed, and presented to perfection. I wish we could have had space for dessert but we were full from the tapenade appetizer, amuse-bouche, starter and main ????

I hope we have another chance to come back.

I think booking is essential - whilst we were there, a walk-in was turned away after asking if there was space for Sunday lunch.
