Surrounded by greenery, this small castle, originally built entirely of sandstone, is nestled here in Bours, a rural village in the Pas-de-Calais, in the Ternois. The Donjon de Bours has survived through the centuries and still proudly displays its cylindrical and majestic towers. Built in the 14th century, the keep of Bours was classified as a historical monument in 1965. And with good reason: it survived the Revolution, ruin, fires, abandonment... It consists of a square base flanked by six cylindrical corbelled turrets: a unique architecture. From now on, you can freely visit it as it houses the town hall.
