Basilica of Notre-Dame-de-Boulogne, with a crypt that houses the treasure of sacred art.
With its dome and cupola, 100 m high and positioned off-center, Notre-Dame de Boulogne forms a monumental ensemble that dominates the town. In 1879, Notre-Dame became a basilica. The crypt is one of the largest in France. Its maze of galleries houses the remains of the 12th-century Romanesque church, as well as a treasure trove of sacred art. Every year, a sound and light show retraces the history of Boulogne.

Si l'architecture lourde de la basilique peut en rebuter certains, la crypte est à voir absolument. On y voyage véritablement dans le temps.
