In the shadow of the arcades of the Place des Héros, the café Georget is an institution in Arras… A reputation he owes to his boss for 27 years, Marie-Jo, vice-president of the Brotherhood of Andouillette, among others. In this "village bistro", as defined so accurately by a used habitué of zinc, facade, tile and benches have this small side side of the good old weather. There is a day to take a drink inside or on the terrace, listening to the latest news from the "village", market days to taste the mâchon in the morning, or at midday to enjoy good family cuisine, home made of course (count € 8,70 for the dish of the day), or even the famous andouillette if one has been taken care of. We discovered this traditional bistro and if you search for authentic, simple and good and humanity… it's exceptional! …The kitchen is really home… a rare gesture, for a glass of wine the boss opens a bottle and put it on the table… so that you can see what you drink… here customer respect is not a verni learned by heart… no shichi, but education. The patron is a beautiful person with a well-tempered and common sense, his bistro is frequented by the latvian and not latvian, by the rich or the richest filled that they are natural with values… True social mix…
