The traditional Villeneuve-sur-Lot market takes place on Saturday mornings in Place Lafayette and Rue Lakanal. Local producers of fruit and vegetables, butchers, pork butchers and fishmongers meet up with locals and visitors alike for a colorful morning of gossip, commentary on the previous day's matches and political jousting. Since 2016, the Tuesday morning market has moved to Place de la Libération. Last but not least, an organic market takes place every Wednesday morning on Place d'Aquitaine.

Very pretty market with a majority of producers of the country, although some fruiterers and vegetables are present.

The Villeneuve is here every Saturday morning. Not to buy your southwest: it is enough to restaurants ear to be common last pewters.
