Do you like Lebanese cuisine? This restaurant will satisfy you with its local specialties in starters, main courses and desserts.

Adib El Aouf, originally from Beirut, has set up his restaurant "Fayrouz" (named after a famous singer from his homeland) in a prominent position on Boulevard Georges Leygues. A trained chef, he offers hot and cold "mezzés" (hummus, eggplant caviar, falafel), small dishes for sharing, as well as specialties such as kefta shish beef or shish taouk chicken kebabs, arayes bread grilled with kefta meat. Baklawa with pistachios and mohalabia (orange blossom flan) are among the traditional desserts. The perfect place to eat Lebanese food.

Enfin un restaurant qui change, de la cuisine excellente, et, copieuse qui plus est.
Je conseille à ceux qui, comme moi, ont envie de découvrir de nouvelles saveurs.
Franchement, une belle découverte, je conseille sans modération.

Great food but be prepared to wait for it! Also, know that the servers will stand outside smoking next to you even when you are eating. Roadside location too so it is busy, noisy & smelly ...but it was a hot night so we chose to sit outside. The Lebanese beer is very different from any other beer i have tried. None of us would have it again. The local wine was "ok" but expensive compared to other local eateries.
But, if you like Falafel, Aubergine dishes, Hummus & Kebabs then do not hesitate because the food was fab & worth the potential "downsides".
