For years, the former Hainaut Hospital (once a prison) has been under construction, and the people of Valenciennes wondered when the promised future hotel would emerge. In 2019, the Royal Hainaut & Spa opened its doors. 15,000m2 of luxury and modernity in a historic monument, with magnificent rooms and suites, high ceilings, a spa with a heated pool under the blue stone vaults, a hammam and sauna, a restaurant... Everything here gives the impression of grandeur, without overdoing it.
