Restaurant in the Musée de la Piscine in Roubaix offering a seasonal cuisine

Between Roubaix and Maison Méert, it's a long love story. It all began in 1911 when Méert created an ephemeral tea room for visitors to the International Exhibition. Many curious people came to taste the legendary Méert waffle! 90 years later, it is in the mythical and superb Musée de la Piscine that Méert set up his second restaurant. The setting is enchanting and the menu is renewed according to the seasons and exhibitions. Each dish has a name referring to an artist! The quality and flavours are there. What do we prefer? The pastries, of course! In the afternoon the restaurant turns into a pleasant tea room.

Service de réservation. Nul. Réservation passée le 3 janvier pour le vendredi 5 janvier à 13h. Réponse le 5 janvier à 10h10 : votre demande de réservation est annulée. Très sympa quand on veut venir avec une personne de 92 ans !

La renommée de Meert n’est plus à faire. Cependant certains serveurs, au bout de leurs vies, manquent de politesse et de courtoisie… Chose que je peux toutefois comprendre vu tous les bobos/boomers présents.
