A park with picnic areas, discovery trails and educational panels for a pleasant visit to Maubeuge.

As part of the "Trame Verte et Bleue" (a scheme to restore or preserve areas rich in biodiversity), this former industrial site has been redeveloped to become "Les Portes de Marpiniaux". Left fallow for 25 years, the site is home to a rich flora and fauna, thanks in particular to its proximity to the Marpiniaux marsh. Today, picnic areas, discovery trails and educational panels make the visit particularly enjoyable. A breath of fresh air on the banks of the Sambre.
