What a wonderful renovation! This brewery was created on the site of the ancient abbey Saint-André, located in the heart of the town of Cateau-Cambrésis. The writings attest to the existence of a brewery in 1775. Brewery activity ends in 1926. It was in 2004 that the activity resumed thanks to the passion and courage of Jean-Luc State known in the profession as a distributor of French and foreign special beers. The site is still under renovation. The brewery is the lung of the establishment. A large restaurant (regional specialities) surrounds the production unit. The manufacturing process (by gravity) has been preserved. It is an exceptional place to découvir a part of brewing history and taste original and innovative beers. The brand name of the brewery is the Vivat under different flavours!
