The former Benedictine abbey of Saint-André is now home to this superb brewery, now classified as a historical monument. There are several buildings, such as the stables, which allow you to imagine how the place functioned until 1926, when the brewery still produced 10,000 to 12,000 hl per year. Today, you can taste Vivat, a pure malt lager brewed the old-fashioned way: fermentation in open vats, skimming by hand. It is even possible to participate in a brewing workshop... all in moderation!
