CAMPING DE LA PLAGE * * *
A municipal campsite near Gravelines with an exceptional setting in the middle of nature.
The municipal campsite of La Plage offers a pleasant stopover a few kilometres from Gravelines. In summer, a very bucolic canoe allows you to go from one bank of the Aa to the other. This campsite benefits from an exceptional setting, in the middle of nature. It is the starting point for beautiful walks, the GR 120 passes just behind and it is bordered by the Voie Verte bicycle route. Holidaymakers benefit from preferential rates for tennis court hire or sailing courses. The campsite does not ask you to choose between calm and activities!

Installations : c'est vieillot, très difficile pour charger un téléphone sans forfait électrique, pas de point d'eau à proximité, pas de commodités proches 3/10
Situation : proche de la mer 5/10
Calme 9/10
The site itself is mediocre but the hostile manager, and the stream of migrants on their way to cross the Channel in small boats makes me feel compelled to warn people away from this site.
We were on a pitch next to the road and saw the migrants eying up our kit and looking into every car window down the street.
It's a shame that my last night in France was here!
