Restaurant offering a typical setting and offering perfectly executed regional dishes in Ennevelin.

What do we love about Witloof? The delicious contrast between the setting - an authentic Flemish house - and chef Mickaël Braure's inventive cuisine. There's no à la carte menu here, just a slate of dishes that changes several times a week according to what's available, because that's the chef's philosophy: to work only with fresh, seasonal produce from short supply chains. The result? Constantly renewed flavors and textures, to our delight. We also love the attention paid to the selection of wines and beers, which the chef wants to be as natural as possible.

Service très accueillant, sympathique. Carte limitée signe en général de qualité. Plat principal de bœuf baignant dans 2 sauces dont une au maroille mais sans goût. Goûtons à la spécialité des frites au lard. Décevant. Dessert , un baba sec à arroser soi meme , décevant . Un second dessert à l orange et cointreau. , présentation et goût décevant. Le restaurant affiche " bar à vins et à bières" 3 bières nous seront proposées oralement sans carte sans prix . Un prix final de 115e . Restons sur une déception à hauteur de nos attentes d un demi finaliste de top chef .

C’était notre quatrième visite dans ce restaurant. Ce fut la moins bonne expérience culinaire : tout était bon mais nous avons trouvé un rapport qualité /prix un peu élevé. Par contre l’accueil est toujours chaleureux. Nous avons malgré tout passé un très bon moment.
