LESCARGOT DE CH'NORD

Ferme hélicicole de l'Avesnois, also known as L'Escargot de ch'Nord, is a snail farm located in Croix-Caluyau. Established in 1990, this typical 19th-century farm converted to organic farming in 2010. Snails are raised from birth to adulthood, and recipes are developed and cooked on site. The farm's produce is sold to individuals, professionals and local produce stores. In addition to breeding and selling cooked snails, l'Escargot de ch'Nord also offers an educational and entertaining labyrinth dedicated to these gastropods.
