The water slope of Montech, inaugurated in 1974 representing the river economy of yesteryear, today a place of public reception
Inaugurated in 1974, the water slope of Montech is a boat elevator located on the lateral canal of the Garonne. Representing the river economy of yesteryear, this space is now being rehabilitated to become a place of public reception. The objective is to stage the river heritage with the green bike path that runs along the canal, the old paper mill of Montech, the machinery of the water slope, the various hiking routes, and the "exhibition barge" Altaïr.
