The Uvarium Port Area offers an exceptional stopover for boaters who navigate on the Canal Latéral de la Garonne and the Tarn River. Located only a few dozen kilometers from the cities of Montauban and Toulouse, this port area invites you to walk the path from "water to stone" by giving access to contrasting landscapes and rich in heritage. At the end of August, it is the unavoidable "Fête des Plaisanciers" (Boatmen's Festival) which animates the port, the occasion to meet and exchange around common passions. The Rand'Eau Loisirs base offers you the opportunity to discover the Tarn and Garonne valleys by bike, canoe, kayak, boat or stand-up paddle. Each activity is available for hire or with an instructor. Those who choose canoeing can try their hand at this sport on the Moissac waterway, or go for a hike. A shuttle bus can bring you there, depending on your choice of route. Two hours will be enough, for example, to cover the five kilometres that separate Moissac from Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave.

On this easy walk through the heart of the town, you will quickly understand why stone and art are the emblems of Moissac. Starting from the cloister, you will slowly make your way towards the Saint-Pierre abbey church and the tympanum, then, before continuing to the Place des Récollets, make a detour to the former abbey palace. Then take successively the rue du Général-Gras, the rue des Arts and the rue Sainte-Catherine, without missing the beautiful Saint-Jacques church on the way.

Here you can practice different water sports: rowing, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, surfbike... Take advantage of the banks to walk, bike or horseback ride on the many hiking trails that cross Moissac and its surroundings. They are marked out and propose different itineraries, more or less long, more or less difficult, to walk alone or with your family. Fishing enthusiasts will be able to track down carp, catfish and other roach. You can also rent electric boats and pedal boats.
