The Old Carmel of Moissac, a major stop on the thousand year old pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, has become a place of accommodation and welcome, managed by the Club Alpin Français de Toulouse. A splendid place full of history, it is wrapped around a small garden conducive to meditation. It is a place of passage, rich in the encounters it brings about. From the Carmel, clinging to the hill, and going up to the statue of the Virgin, the view is breathtaking on the city and its surroundings.
