Workshop in the historic center of Caussade, offering a unique visit to discover all types of hats
The "formier" is the craftsman who carves blocks of lime wood to serve as molds for all types of hats. This is a rare craft, listed by UNESCO. The workshop is located in the historic center of Caussade, in an atypical house dating back to the 13th century. Didier Laforest works with wood. Discover how the shapes born of designers' imaginations are reproduced by the goldsmith's hands of the woodworker. A unique visit!
