Fun and entertainment Beaumont-De-Lomagne

The Beaumont Racing Society was founded in 1875 by Baron Alphonse de Ruble de Gimat. The present site, Borde-Vieille, dates from 1925 and the pink sand trotting track, the first in the South-West, from 1965. Two major events take place on this racecourse every four years: one is European (the Grand Prix du Sud-Ouest), the other national (the Grand National du Trot). For the gourmets, it is possible to follow the races at the panoramic restaurant-bar.
