Communal gîte d'étape offering sober but functional rooms at low prices.
This communal gîte is run by the Tourist Office during the high season, and by the Town Hall during the low season. Reserved for pilgrims on the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage route wishing to stop off in Auvillar, it is housed in the former presbytery. Open all year round, it offers simple but functional rooms, and can accommodate up to 18 guests. There's also a mezzanine lounge and an adjoining garden with a beautiful view over the Garonne valley. A pleasant and economical stopover.
