Specialized in goat, calf and buffalo leathers, its products are intended for leather goods, furniture, bookbinding and sheathing, footwear and orthopedics. Today, the company is proud to work hand in hand with major luxury houses, renowned industrialists, but also art craftsmen and young designers.

Leather Clothing

The Laquière factory is the region's last artisan tannery manufacturer. Its history is a perfect illustration of Mazamet's evolution. Founded in 1856 on the factory road leading up to the Pic de Nore, the town once boasted 300 specialized businesses. The leather industry has suffered a severe decline over the last century. But La Laquière survives thanks to quality work and ancestral know-how. Clothes are made in the workshop adjoining the boutique, where a dozen seamstresses are hard at work.

Fabrics haberdashery and wool

The Jules Tournier factory began to make history in 1865. Today, it is one of the last French wool manufacturers to master all the stages of the manufacturing of its fabrics. An independent family business, the company creates and manufactures yarns and fabrics for luxury ready-to-wear clothing such as Chanel and technical fabrics for personal protective equipment and industry. All types of fabrics are offered: tweeds and fancy gauze steps or the timeless flannels, coats and wool sheets.
