Honey and jam producer

The David family has been producing honey for several generations. The small Porte des Landes apiary is located around Poussignac and does not practice transhumance. It is at the edge of the forest and in the surrounding wasteland that the bees search for the nectar that will give the honey its aroma. This traditional, ancestral and natural beekeeping method produces a range of delicate, fruity honeys. Today, Marie-Claude David is the beekeeper.

Ferme de Marauli offers direct sales of free-range poultry from the South-West of France, raised in a natural environment according to regional farming traditions. The farm's poultry is fed on quality cereals and treated with essential oils. The chicks arrive at the farm from the age of one day, and have access to grassy runs from 6 weeks of age. Chickens, turkeys, whole guinea fowl, cut up or in confit, galantine, but also products from neighboring farmers, dried duck fillets, foies gras, terrines...

CHEZ PAPA POULE

Local producer

Julien Lavergne is a real daddy hen, with his pullets and two young daughters who help him harvest the eggs in the henhouse. His hens are raised in the open air in a vast wooded field in Poussignac. During the festive season, he offers geese, turkeys, roasts, capons and guinea fowl with stuffing (foie gras, fig or chestnut stuffing). You'll find his stand with whole or cooked poultry, and poultry roasted on the spot in a rotisserie.
