Railway station

This station saw the arrival of the first train from Castelnaudary on April 16, 1865. Today, it can be reached by regional lines from Toulouse, Mazamet and Saint-Sulpice. Service is provided not only by rail, but also by road, with buses from the liO81 network. Parking for cars and bikes is available. You'll also find a newspaper vending machine and a "Power & Station" that lets you recharge your phone and surf the Net while you pedal!

LIBELLUS

Public transport buses and coaches

This urban transport network offers 11 bus lines that criss-cross the whole of Castres town centre, from the station to the Borde Basse leisure centre, and even as far as Mazamet. A Libellus Chrono service that crosses the city in record time is also available. This network is also a good example of the city's and the agglomeration's desire to continue the transition to electric vehicles. The municipal services are equipped with a number of models and Libellus is following suit. A new hybrid phase is currently being put on line.
