LA CONTIE

We have just spent a few days in the south my family, and was pleasure to stay in this cottage whose character and beauty immediately challenged us. We stayed in the " Célestine" house; enjoy the spacious arrangement of this guest house, ideal for our family and breakfasts prepared by the Master of guest with each morning a good story has the key. The heat is intense (between 35 and 40) but the pool and the freshness of the guest house makes the experience relaxing and pleasant.

We read with much interest various remarks which were made.
Our main objective being the welcome and the comfort of our guests, it is essential that the latter enjoy their stay and that it gives them a perennial souvenir.
However we were surprised by the importance by critics formulated by "sametnouk", as little time before the visit, we had just been inspected by Gîtes De France".
During this inspection, cleanliness, the quality of the bedding, the presentation, the facilities as well as the swimming pool were controlled in detail and were certified including in keeping in cleanliness and quality justifying our status of 3 epis.
It is a pity that during your stay, 2 nights (and not 3 nights as stated) at any time it did not express its dissatisfaction!
It would have been desirable and constructive we can speak of it... it is during your stay or departure when we ask you to complete a form of critics and suggestions and we were left warmly when it was not fully glad to your stay.
In addition, our guests are great share with guests who return year (for some for more than six consecutive years) for up to 21 days.
To date, the "July-August 2013" is already reserved by guests 2012, which reconfirmed and now their stay.
Very critical can be constructive because it allows us to improve quality of our service. We took note its reviews.

For many years the Southwest France is our region " vacance" privileged. This year: FIGEAC... Eight days, accueuillis in one of the cottages (grangette) " Contie". For us: Eight days in an authentic setting has original decor. Owners (bilingual) charming and full of humour. Quiet and coolness in the walls
stones cigs (38 degrees outside) or has the shade of the walnut tree. A pool NOT CHLOREE (traitee salt)... thank you for our eyes! ... chauffee for sensitive... Bref, a sweet life that we highly recommend has any lover of nature and culture: " La Contie " date the 14 century, Ken Lazarus Sabine and will be happy to tell the long history...
For our part we have now and already reserve our standard hotel for the next year... if the Maya calendar wants it!

we stayed three nights in this group of houses in course restoration. We had a priori one very favourable compared to the site and the charm of the old stones... but we were very disappointed by the lack of comfort in the room (not very clean, dubious cleaning, worn down bedding, cold atmosphere... the owner looks more like a guide castle than a reserved guest... passionate but completely hermetic with the well-being of its guests. breakfast was systematically the same: no fruit juice, 1 defrosted croissant large area, bottom-of-the-range jam large area. the bathroom is so small that the exit of the hip bath without point outfit for the hands was risky, the banks (stairs,) which left the rooms were invaded by weeds and coarsely trimmed for walking, the pool did not have any more its maintenance and the walls and steps entrance in the pool were sticky green algae... the owner was never presented while her husband told us that it was present and it entrusted the last day to breakfast that they a few days left regularly when the rooms were rented and that they asked next to prepare breakfast in their lack... without any complex. never housekeeping was once in the room, the owner told us that it did not make this type of things and that it was only at the end of the stay that a lady came to clean! the owner, rather original English, was worried more by the restoration of this place than the obligations which are told him to still receive... owner who think than d" open rooms in a ready square past is enough to help the reconstruction of its building! not I will not recommend this place where you are welcomed only for its credit card!
