Small place in Gramat suggesting a home-made lunch formula with fresh products.

A little corner of America in Gramat, and happiness on the plate. The decor of the three rooms of La Cuisine d'Alain is a hymn to the United States and its culture. Alain officiates in the kitchen, and you won't be disappointed. A lunchtime menu where everything is homemade with fresh produce: cassoulet, six burgers including the Duck with duck fillet. You can also enjoy full plates, salads and side dishes. And to complete the picture, a fine wine list. La Cuisine d'Alain is the sports café of the USA!

Open all year round. Monday to Saturday lunchtime + evening in July and August. Reservations recommended. Menus from 17 € to 35 €. Lunch menu: €14. Wine by the glass. Repas de groupe, magret de canard censé être entier auquel ont été retirées des parts (comme tous les autres plats) contrairement au premier repas où les plats étaient copieux. Bref le profit à tout prix, regrettable .

Bon mais nous nous attendions à bien mieux, le burger veggie n’est pas mauvais mais pas du tout original et pour un burger sans viande ça ne fait aucun sens qu’il soit plus cher que les autres, il devrait au contraire être bien moins cher. Les frites sont surgelées et vraiment pas bonnes, c’est dommage alors que le burger est fait maison, ça denote. Dommage aussi que l’unique sauce donnée soit une sauce barbecue. Le service etait un peu lent et la serveuse peu aimable, aucun sourires. Le reste est correct : burger bon, deco sympa.
