A single visit to Gourdon is all it takes to admire thousands of concretions, stalactites, stalagmites and cave paintings.

For just over an hour, you'll be able to admire thousands of concretions (stalactites and stalagmites) and rock paintings dating back 30,000 years. The first cave features marvellous mineral vegetation and is certainly one of France's most beautiful ceilings. The other cave features the oldest dated figurative animal paintings accessible to the public. The paintings depict large deer, mammoths and, above all, human figures with arrows or wounds.
