In the Middle Ages, when the South-West was divided between the French and the English, 350 new towns were born: bastides. To better understand them, a museum dedicated to them has been set up on 2 floors of the Tourist Office premises. The self-guided tour includes explanatory panels, models (including an imposing one of Monflanquin at the start of its construction) and children's materials. there are 2 play areas for families, focusing on medieval clothing and the shop. The museum also houses an escape game.
