Visit the Musée des Bastides, through a scenography including explanatory panels, models and media
In the Middle Ages, when the South-West was divided between the French and the English, 350 new towns were born: bastides. To better understand them, a museum dedicated to them has been set up on two floors of the Tourist Office premises. The self-guided tour includes explanatory panels, models (including an imposing one of Monflanquin at the start of its construction) and children's materials. There are also two play areas for families, featuring medieval clothing and a shop. The museum also houses an escape game.
