Abbey with a remarkable carillon and tropical park in Tarasteix, a place of welcome for pilgrims on the Compostela route.
Long nicknamed the "desert", this abbey was saved from oblivion thanks to the commitment of volunteers. Abandoned for 120 years, the building was found in an advanced state of disrepair. However, a group of volunteers undertook the task of restoring this place steeped in history. The result: a veritable architectural renaissance. The 60 m carillon bears witness to the abbey's splendour. Surrounding it, a wooded park of rare species and bewitchingly fragrant flowers.
