The Bistrot de l'Abbaye is run by Viscos, a well-known hotel-restaurant. The dining room is luminous and, in fine weather, the terrace offers a splendid view of the mountains. The restaurant's focus is on local cuisine. The menu is short and of high quality. The plates are well presented and the dishes are excellent. After a good walk, the garbure bigourdane is a good choice. Chocolate mousse and apple charlotte bring the meal to a gentle close. The restaurant offers gourmet snacks all day long.

Enjoyed a very nice meal here. Like others have stated, the view while eating is really really beautiful. The food was delicious. We had the Garbure bigourdane (bottom pic) and the Entrecôte sauce au poivre. Not pictured was the blueberry cobbler which was also very nice. Highly recommend :)
