Local cuisine to enjoy in a restaurant with terrace in Pierrefitte-Nestalas.
This is a completely unusual address that offers two completely different rooms and atmospheres in the same place, one at noon and the other in the evening. The restaurant is that of the Grand Hôtel de France, so much so that, in the image of its remarkable architecture, nothing is left to chance here: the enchantment lies first and foremost in the setting... which is incredible. The walls of the large room are majestic with exposed beams on the ceiling, wooden furniture and some rustic decoration pieces. An elegant style that the grill and its stones offer in a more relaxed way at lunchtime. Between the two, a very large stone paved terrace with a magnificent Andalusian fountain. The menu is resolutely local, highlighting and enhancing local specialities with real talent: velvety in winter, garbure, gizzard salad, duck breast, confit, trout from the Pyrenees, lamb chops... It is the whole department that can be found on the plate up to the desserts with, of course, local cheese ! If you prefer a lemon meringue pie, don't hesitate, it's perfect here. A service that is just as friendly and a warm welcome, a beautiful address, at any time of the day or night!

Les grillades sont un peu chères en revanche mais elles sont bonnes.
Une simple affiche de menu de St Valentin m'a fait découvrir ce chaleureux endroit où mes papilles se sont émerveillées.
Merci infiniment pour cet accueil conviviale et mes sincères compliments à LA cheffe Patricia qui m'a régalé avec ce Risotto St Jacques/Gambas, je n'en ai réellement jamais mangé un aussi bon !
Habitants la vallée nous reviendrons bien vite et autant que possible nous régaler et passer un agréable moment.
on finit par s'assoir et on se retrouve avec 2 pizzas, certes de très belle taille, mais fade et sans saveur sur les 4 fromages.... un oeuf en supplement ultra cuit , un jaune farineux et insipide...
dommage, le cadre est plutot sympa, mais je n'y mettrais plus jamais les pieds.
