Clos Fardet is the oldest winery in the village of Madiran, which gives it a little extra soul. In 1998, Pascal Savoret took over the reins of this family business. He lovingly watches over his great-grandfather's vat-press, a rarity not found elsewhere. With this manual tool from 1923, he continues to make the main part of his wine making. This is perhaps the secret of his wines, which regularly win prizes and medals in agricultural competitions. The winemaker added white to his range in 2018.
