Located in the village's former priory, the Maison des Vins is a haven for wine enthusiasts. Adjacent to the Eglise Sainte-Marie, it offers weekly tastings and sales of over 80 wines. Clos Fardet is the oldest winery in the village of Madiran, which gives it a little extra soul. In 1998, Pascal Savoret took over the reins of this family business. He lovingly watches over his great-grandfather's vat-press, a rarity not found elsewhere. With this manual tool from 1923, he continues to make the main part of his wine making. This is perhaps the secret of his wines, which regularly win prizes and medals in agricultural competitions. The winemaker added white to his range in 2018.

If the mushrooms are from Paris, the first farm in France to produce them organically is in Madiran! With more than 700 kilos per week, the workers of this medico-social establishment, for people with disabilities, have green thumbs! The first to have put the mushrooms of the ASEI association on his menu is the triple starred Landes chef Michel Guérard. This reassures on the excellent gustatory quality of these buttons of mould which bloom on a natural compost, without chemical fertilizers, in the cellars naturally maintained at 17°.

Located at the foot of the Pyrenees in the heart of the village, Chez Madiran is a wine cellar and concierge service that brings together 20 independent winemakers who are passionate about local grape varieties, notably the famous tannat. They also cultivate gros and petit manseng grapes for dry and sweet white wines. Vanessa, the instigator of this project, has marveled at Madiran for 12 years.
