The underground Basilica of St. Pius X impresses with its upside-down ship's hull shape, measuring 201 metres by 81 metres, making it the world's largest sanctuary. With a capacity of 25,000, it was consecrated on March 25, 1958 for the centenary of the Apparitions by the future Pope John XXIII. This architectural and cultural jewel is also adorned with 39 canvases depicting various saints and blesseds, as well as 52 gems.

Immense basilique souterraine. Bâtie en 1958 pouvant accueillir 25 000 personnes. Tout est béton. Belle galerie de tableaux sur les accès périphériques.
