Monastery offering lodging for young girls in search of a vocation in Lourdes.
The monastery of the Carmelite Sisters of Lourdes, founded in 1876. The Carmelite chapel, designed by architect Jean-Marie Lacrampe, was restored in the 1970s under the direction of Pierre Vago, who was also the architect of the Basilica of St. Pius X. A small boutique is located at the entrance to the monastery, selling candles, embroidery, cookies and chocolate treats.
