Museum retracing the daily lives of mountain men and women, with an exceptional collection of tools and objects.
Created in 1963 by André Fourcade, this museum offers a fascinating insight into the daily lives of mountain dwellers, shepherds and craftsmen of yesteryear. It houses a collection of rare tools and objects, telling the story of the valley and its inhabitants. Among the exhibits are a nail-maker's forge, unique in France, and a collection of typical Val d'Azun creations. Tours are available, highlighting a pastoral society and its harmonious relationship with the Pyrenean landscape.
