In the heights of the city, it deploys from the place of the Foirail to that of the Republic along the Church: one can say that the Marché-Gazost market is a real meeting with the merchants but also the farmers in the valley. Tradition does not date today, 700 years ago was already taken! The strength of this very pleasant market is the richness of its food base, where you will find most of the gastronomy and the Pyrenean land. Cheese, artisanales jams, mountain honey, surrounding meats, fresh vegetables and seasonal fruits: from Foie gras to meats specialities, the baskets fill quickly, just follow the stands and their aromas. During the year, other more specific markets, such as the spectacular one, devoted to flowers in June or the nights in July and August.
