Gallery dedicated to artist photography, hosting exhibitions dedicated to established and emerging artists

The Galerie du Château d'Eau is a magnificent space dedicated to artists' photography. Internationally renowned, it takes its name from the building that once supplied the city with drinking water, pumped from the Garonne. Disused in 1870, it was the initiative of Toulouse photographer Jean Dieuzaide that reopened the building a hundred years later. Since then, the space has hosted a number of fascinating exhibitions. The library's 15,000 books can be consulted in the documentation center under the arches of the Pont Neuf.

Un lieu unique exceptionnel en plein centre de Toulouse. Les expositions de photos sont mises en valeur dans un écrin exceptionnel : un ancien Château d'Eau où les photos sont accrochées sur des murs en brique le tout dans des couloirs circulaires nous faisant perdre nos repères spatio-temporels ... évasion garantie avec des expositions de grandes qualitées !

This site was rebuilt it there is a few years in Toulouse and has become a photo exhibitions mainly.

Precisely has just finished in Toulouse spring of September and water tower welcomed a magnificent exhibition!
