VOCE TOLOSA
The Voce Tolosa ensemble was founded in the 1990s. It is composed of about sixty choristers and twenty musicians, under the direction of Olivier Perny, and specializes in sacred music, performing works from the baroque, classical and romantic periods. Each year, one or more works are worked on and presented at several concerts in Toulouse and its region. Examples: Mozart's Requiem (2014), Handel's Dixit Dominus (2016), Bach's Cantata 191 and Mozart's Great Mass in C (2018). The choir meets to rehearse on Tuesday evenings at the Courrège School in the Terrasse neighborhood. If you like to sing, you can join one of the Voce Tolosa choirs by simply auditioning your voice and your level. The atmosphere is friendly, the conviviality is there.
