Regionalism bookshops Toulouse

Located in the heart of Toulouse, this bookshop has specialized in the sale of French and Occitan books for 60 years. At first, the shelves were filled with general books sold by mail order, before an Occitan section was added, focusing on regionalism, history, literature and collectors' books. In 2000, Jérôme Thourel took over the family bookshop, and the Occitan section continues to expand with educational material, children's books, fairy tales and poetry.

Within the Ostal d'Occitania, the Tuta d'Òc is a bookstore entirely specialized in the Occitan culture and language. In French or in Occitan, you will find books for all publics (novels, pedagogy, history, children's books...), CDs (traditional and modern music, polyphonic songs...), DVDs (fiction, cartoons, humor, documentaries...) and derived products (stickers, T-shirts...). The bookstore also offers meetings with authors, artists and actors of the Occitan cultural and literary life.
