Family restaurant offering good small dishes with sauce and meats.
Don't expect to find faded oilcloths and melamine furniture here... Only the recipes have been stolen from Mémé! Indeed, while the cuisine is firmly rooted in the past and the terroir, the decor is in line with the current trend: simple and minimal. Having fallen into the family restaurant's stewpot at a very early age, Jérôme Dumouch, the owner of the place, has taken his own take on... his Granny! Japanese pearls in the pot-au-feu broth, oven-breaded camembert with grilled bacon, duck confit or entrecôte with French fries and pan-fried forest mushrooms, and a well-watered croustade to round off dinner. Tout était très bon, ce dimanche midi ! Service aux petits soins.
Grand plus : face aux quantités plus que généreuses (cela change des portions ridicules parfois de certains restos dit 'bistronomiques'!), nous avons pu repartir avec un doggy bag.
Bref un GRAND OUI !

Le restaurant à ne pas manquer sur Toulouse! Cuisine du terroir, savoureuse et copieuse! Personnel très agréable et souriant. J’y retournerai sans faute!

Une belle table pour les gros mangeurs, un personnel très sympathique, toujours aussi bon! Mention spéciale à la cote de cochon, magnifique ????

Highly recommended restaurant, focused on local food and local wine. A short selection of 2-3 menu per dish, but I think you will be satisfied from their offer. Wide selection of local wine, that will match your taste. Can use for family, friends or for social events. Recomend to book in advance. It opens early and also on Sunday night!
