Shalizar is the only Iranian restaurant in Toulouse! It is located in the heart of Saint-Michel, and has a small room soberly but pleasantly decorated. We come especially to discover new flavors, concocted by Sosan in the kitchen, always from fresh products! The menu changes with the seasons, avoiding monotony. You can taste here for example a "Mirza ghasemi" or smoked eggplant caviar, an "olvieh salad" composed of chicken and vegetable shreds, a "Coucou sibzamini" or saffron flavored soufflé as a starter, then a skewer of chicken fillet marinated in saffron and lemon, orange and spices sauce, a leg of lamb and its prune sauce, a "Sabzi polo ba mahi" i.e. a salmon steak and its curry and coriander sauce.... before finishing with a rose ice cream, a saffron flavored crème brûlée, or a flavored orange salad! An excellent address that we recommend to all gourmets and gourmands!
