Sitting at a table at Chez Carmen, the "restaurant des abattoirs" is a dive into a friendly bistro atmosphere where good homemade products and savored in good company are a way of life.
Butcher's pieces, grandmother recipes and "scoundrel" are the signatures of this Toulouse institution, created in 1956.
In the center of Toulouse, in the district of the Carmelites, just a step from the Courthouse, Chez Carmen is a place for the fans of good food, a menu of dishes cooked with love slowly simmered, and moments of conviviality.

À l’ombre dans un quartier calme ☺️
J'ai choisi des plats de cuisine traditionnelle qui m'ont rappelés ma grand-mère : une excellente daube, et du pain perdu, dessert oublié mais néanmoins savoureux. Pour 19,50€ le plat et dessert, c'est très correct, surtout lorsqu'on se régale !
